Our Story
Tripz Oregon's journey began with our founder, Willy T., a passionate advocate for change and healing. Willy's path to psilocybin was not straightforward; it was carved through personal trials, a profound connection to community, and a deep-rooted belief in the power of natural remedies. After contributing to the legalization efforts in Washington State and experiencing life's ups and downs across Colorado and Oregon, Willy found a true calling amidst the rugged beauty of Newport, Oregon.
The turning point came unexpectedly. A severe bout with COVID-19, coupled with the surprising news of psilocybin's legalization, made Willy reassess life's priorities. Deciding to fully dedicate to the psilocybin movement, Willy embraced this calling, leaving behind a career in marketing and a smoke shop business to become a certified psilocybin provider through intensive training at the Changa Institute.
Willy's journey is also one of personal healing, marked by overcoming the shadows of a tumultuous childhood and the challenges of constant upheaval. From moving every two weeks due to a father's criminal activities to the poignant loss of childhood treasures like Ninja Turtles, Willy's resilience was tested time and again. However, it was through underground psilocybin sessions that a true healing process began, transforming years of trauma into strength and empathy.
